At some point in my many watchings of Star Wars, I had the realization that in episode IV just after the Millenium Falcon is captured by the Death Star and Han and Luke fool some stormtroopers into coming inside the ship to steal their uniforms, the officer who pages the stormtroopers to see what's happened uses a serial number that has a special ring to it: TK421.
Being a fan of the musical Les Miserable, I realized that the serial number resonated because of its similarity to Valjean's prison number - 24601.
So, here's the project someone needs to undertake: a stage production that mixes an apocryphal Star Wars plot with parodied music from Les Miserable.
The plot could follow the early life of TK421 and what becomes of him after the fake-out from Luke and Han. For who knows, though he might've been shot and killed in the Falcon, he also could've just been knocked out and woken up while our heros were exploring the Death Star (in which case he might've been punished by the Imperials and sent to some desolate planet in exile or servitude) or they might've tied him up and accidentally taken off for Yavin 4 with him during their escape (in which case he might've been torn about joining the Rebellion or trying to re-join the Imperial army).
Either way, I think it holds a lot of promise.
Now, we just need to get Disney on board....
